Brighton-based Natures Healthbox is a new shop boasting a great catalogue of natural, eco-friendly and organic health, beauty, baby, food, cleaning and homeopathy products.
The business' origins stem from several conversations three close friends - pharmacy workers Jon, Keeley and Kerri - had previously, regarding the ever increasing popularity of natural alternatives over chemical-based remedies.
As aficionados of natural solutions themselves, the trio self-test each and every product before it is approved for inclusion in the shop and/or on the site - very reassuring!
Towards the end of last year, the team sent me one of the products available through www.natureshealthbox.co.uk to review...

Although you can also use this product as a shower gel and/or hand wash, I've simply been cleaning my face with it each morning and night.
A number of the natural ingredients in this skin wash have astringent qualities (Lemongrass, Aloe Vera) meaning it's great for removing makeup fully, aiding the prevention of blemishes.
The solution lathers up really well, and also smells wonderful. The Lemongrass definitely dominates the fragrance (awesome, since I love Lemongrass!) and the zingy notes are ideal for rousing me from my still-half-asleep state on workday mornings.
My face is left tingling ever so slightly for a short while after rinsing the foam off too!
Additionally, the lid of the bottle is great for controlling the amount used in each application. The formula has a slightly 'rubbery' gel consistency (for lack of a better description) and so you would have to squeeze the bottle quite hard to get out more than you ever actually need.
|3 months later and there's still plenty left... :]|
My skin has definitely looked clearer since I started using Australian Tea Tree Deep Cleansing Skin Wash - I've suffered (probably otherwise avoidable) spots following occasions I have been lazy and skipped using it, though these have been few. It looks like I am going to have to stock up soon!
I was surprised to discover this skin wash retails for just £5.49 - I was expecting it to cost at least a tenner, considering it's a rich 38% Terpinen-4-OL formula!
There are a number of other Optima Australian Tea Tree Oil products available from Natures Healthbox, including a shampoo, conditioner, various anti-septic spot treatments and even a toothpaste (!?) I'm intrigued!
